Wardrobe Stylist and Creative Director Katie Collins has found inspiration from decades of travel, to places that have shaped her vision of fashion, style and culture. Inspired by street fashion in New York, Paris, and London as well as on runways in other major cities around the world, Katie has honed her eye and developed a hybrid, high-low aesthetic.
Katie studied Art, Post Modern Theory and Photography at university in San Francisco where she collaborated with an artist collective and soon began styling runway shows and editorial shoots for magazines like Elle and Harpers Bazaar. During a decade in New York, her aesthetic continued to evolve and her distinct perspective emerged. Working in a variety of different mediums with talented photographers and designers her career and creativity expanded.
Returning to her home town of Los Angeles in 2014, she continued styling and creating with A-List actors, icons and musicians across a number of platforms including red carpet, celebrity press, commercial and editorial. Her passion for style also extends in to creative direction, where she has created content for TV, Film and Commercial Advertising. Katie is a chameleon in the ever evolving industry of Wardrobe Styling, but always maintains a discerning eye and point of view. Her extensive knowledge of the industry and her love and passion for her clients and art motivate her to continue to push collaborating and creating work.
